Our management possesses a deep knowledge of the investments in real estate and private equity deals, supported by management’s extensive experience in the industry for more than 17 years.

Keigo Kuroda

President and CEO

Keigo Kuroda has been a president and CEO of Crosspath Advisors, Ltd., an investment advisory firm since 2013. Crosspath Advisors currently manages 9 assets across Japan and has been involved in JPY40bn value of transactions to date. Prior to the CEO position, he was Director at The Blackstone Group, where he was involved in the expansion of the company’s Asian real estate division from 2007 to 2013.  During his approximately 6 years at Blackstone, he worked on major transactions such as an acquisition of real estate loan portfolio from a global investment bank (US$1.0bn face value), integration of Bank of Merrill Lynch’s Asia Real Estate platform into Blackstone’s Asia team, and an acquisition of residential portfolio from an Asian sovereign wealth fund , etc.

Before joining Blackstone, he worked at Lone Star Funds as Vice President from 2002 to 2007, leading various transactions including acquisitions of distressed assets, distressed companies, NPLs (non-performing loans), hotels, golf courses, offices, residential assets, etc. In 2000 to 2002, he also worked at UBS’s M&A team in the Investment Banking Division.

In 2000, he received an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Previously, he studied Economics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an exchange student. He received a Bachelor of Economics degree from Konan University.

He serves as an Investment Advisor to Chartwell Capital, HK based investment company, since 2013.

Aoi Ishizawa

Director/Japanese Real Estate Broker Licensee

Aoi Ishizawa joined Crosspath Advisors in 2016 as an asset manager, and has led asset value enhancements, acquisitions/dispositions and refinancing of various asset classes such as hotels, residentials, and offices located in Tokyo and other regions.

After graduating from college in 2011, she started working for Nomura Real Estate Urban Net, as a real estate broker covering corporate and retail clients. She was involved in a large-scale project for a foreign customer and contributed the first case of “inbound transaction” in the division.

After transferring to the corporate sales department in 2013, she engaged in the various brokerage transactions to buy and sell assets owned by foreign financial institutions and domestic and overseas real estate funds. She has also been involved in various real estate portfolio deals which includes disposition of the portfolio (approximately 20 billion yen) by a top real estate private equity firm.

After studying at Clinton Central High School in the state of Indiana, USA, she graduated from the Faculty of English, Department of Foreign Languages, Dokkyo University.

Takako Goto

Manager / Japanese Real Estate Broker Licensee

Takako Goto joined Crosspath Advisors in 2018 as Asset Manager. Her career started at Mitsui Real Estate Finance and mainly worked on real estate mortgage loan and buy & sell commercial real estates as sales assistant.

After studying abroad, she worked for several foreign companies as executive assistant, marketing assistant and sales. In 2006, she joined Hudson Japan, the asset management arm of Lone Star Funds, and worked as a cash manager / assistant asset manager. She was also involved in new business projects in a domestic securities company in 2016 prior to joining Crosspath.

Yukari Sekiguchi

Japanese Real Estate Broker Licensee

Yukari Sekiguchi joined Crosspath Advisors in 2019 as an assistant asset manager and cash manager engaging in accounting control of assets or projects. After graduating from college in 2011, she began her career at Nomura Real Estate Urban Net as a broker mainly for retail clients. In 2017, she joined Tokyu Livable and worked on market research/deal execution.

She graduated from the Department of Law, Aoyama Gakuin University.

Makoto Nakazawa

Makoto Nakazawa has been an advisor of Crosspath Advisors since 2017. He began his career at Mitsui Fudosan Sales’ brokerage division and then worked in the contract auditing division of Mitsui. Over the 11 years from 1999 to 2010, he worked at Hudson Japan, the asset management arm of Lone Star Funds, as a General Manager at Disposition of assets division / Due Diligence & Execution division. In 2010, he established “Real Estate Legal Support Administrative Scrivener Office”, which provides property survey, due diligence, execution support, and consulting on compliance and internal audit.

He graduated from Department of Law, Waseda University.
